大江健三郎「臈たしアナベル・リイ総毛立ちつ身まかりつ」を読む。
「取り替え子」以降の後期小説でこれだけ読んでいなかったので、この機会に読む。
いつもの変形私小説だが、今回は同郷の”伝説の女優”サクラと彼女を担いで国際的プロデューサーになることを目論む大学の同級生、木守という男が出てくる。
どんなに「社会の良心」たる大知識人として振舞っても隠し切れない変態性がノーベル文学賞の技量で精緻に展開される＜ケンザブロウ・ワールド＞。それが読者に堪能されるのを今も待ち構えている。
そんなに長くないので途中で退屈して投げ出さなければ一日で読める。（後期）大江文学の入り口としては最適の一冊ではないか。これを読んで面白いと思う人は、どれを読んでも面白いに違いない。
